But biographers have speculated that the teacher may have groomed and sexually abused his charge, who in later life remarked that he drank ‘to overcome the shame’ and told an interviewer he’d had a homosexual period but that it ‘hadn’t worked’.

3 giorni fa · Richard Burton. Born Richard Walter Jenkins in the village of Pontrhydyfen near Port Talbot and grew up in a poor, Welsh-speaking household with many brothers and sisters. He was raised a Presbyterian, but did have a Jewish maternal grandfather.
