The Chronicles of Riddick gave us a lot of combat sequences and introduced a galactic threat with the Necromongers, as well as giving us more backstory to Riddick’s life leading him to becoming a convict and his origins in general. Not to mention the awesome world building for an incredibly dark and bleak universe.
