  6. All the King’s Men - Robert Penn Warren. I absolutely loved this book. I had a general familiarity with the story of Huey Long, which Willie Stark is based on, so I think that definitely helped me buy in to the book early.

  7. 29 mag 2024 · What’s to love in the movie? The cast is stellar, for one thing. Dean Jagger (the general from White Christmas) won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, and Gregory Peck was nominated for Best Actor. The film itself was nominated for Best Picture, losing to All the King’s Men.
