5 giorni fa · The original part of Chigwell School was built soon after the foundation of the school in 1629. It is a one-story building of red brick with an old tile roof. There have been additions in the 18th century and later. Harsnetts is a two-story building opposite the school, now divided into two houses.
12 giu 2024 · Our swimmers performed brilliantly at the IAPS Swimming Finals that took place at the London Aquatics Centre on Saturday 8 th June. We had 6 Chigwell pupils qualify and take part. Our U13s (India, Rosie, Isla and Milly) all improved on their entry times, some pupils by over 3 seconds.

Following two years of national service in the Intelligence Corps, he embarked on a three-year tenure in Greece, serving as the assistant director of the British School at Athens from 1952 to 1955.
