I mean The Boys and Invincible are operating on a similar "some people shouldn't have powers" story. Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog is pretty simular, about a loser supervillian protagonist and his relationship with his hero's damsel in distress. He's a lot more tragic and a lot less nice than megamind though.
