19 mag 2024 · Subsequently, it participates in a complex tribochemical reaction under friction heat, forming a friction protective film including carbon, iron oxides and iron sulfides on the worn surface, which avoids the direct contact of friction pair matrix, thereby significantly reducing friction and wear.
6 giorni fa · This partially explains why, in the friction and wear experimental results shown in Fig. 3, Fig. 7, Fig. 8, the friction film on the worn surface of the PAO-SA-MSH oil sample can hardly be generated as the load increases. 8 mag 2024 · Abstract. It is widely acknowledged that doping silicon can significantly enhance the friction performance of diamond-like carbon (DLC) films in a water environment. However, the mechanism of low friction caused by doped silicon is still highly controversial.
6 giorni fa · Film thickness, coefficient of friction (CoF), and electrical contact resistance (ECR) were measured during short experiments (30 s) in unelectrified and electrified (1.5 and 3 A) conditions. The results suggest that film thickness, CoF, and all ECR are altered by passing DC currents through the contact.
15 mag 2024 · In this work, the friction, wear and anti-scuffing performance of zinc phosphate film applied on the cylinder liners were studied using a self-designed friction and wear experimental apparatus, which can sufficiently simulate the working conditions of the piston ring and cylinder in a real engine.
