5 giorni fa · Why don't Air Forces save everyone a whole lot of hassle and just use standard Humbrol or Tamiya paint colours?
23 giu 2024 · Has Humbrol stopped producing their acrylic spray paints? I can not find them at the usual suppliers. Those that do carry them, have a very limited supply and colors.
5 giorni fa · The Hurricane turned out very nicely indeed, Neale. I've kept the faith with Humbrol clear coats after giving up on their newer enamels, but I apply them by airbrush, thinned with cheapo white spirit and have had very few issues over the years. I've never got on with rattle cans at all and just can't seem to get a decent finish with them.
6 giorni fa · Humbrol has been the modellers standard for decades. Suitable for indoor or outdoor usage. Also available in larger 50ml and 125ml tins for bigger jobs. Application: Brush straight from the tin. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat.

The model is brushpainted using Humbrol enamels and decalled using Xtradecals set, Yanks with Roundels Part 6 as Wildcat Mk.V JV338 882 NAS aboard HMS Searcher late 1944.
