Johan however, was a brilliant antagonist, his mannerisms, planning heck mere existence breathed perfection and his philosophy introduced me to famous Russian writers delving into nihilism which I am grateful to. Just overall an amazing story and something I would return back one day. Thank you Naoki Urasawa for such a masterpiece.

Most "criticisms" I hear about Urasawa's other endings are in the same realm of stupidity. Pluto and 20th Century Boys' endings are close to perfection thematically. I have mixed feelings about the Perfect Edition of 21st Century Boys but even that is still pretty great. Quite honestly, Urasawa's other works are nothing short of incredible.
