15 mag 2024 · Hart-Davis has a copy in his Yorkshire cottage and spends years vowing to read it but, inevitably, returns from holiday without having touched it. There is one volume of letters left to read and I’m hopeful that Hart-Davis will come through before his friend’s death, but Lyttelton’s passion for this classic has me convinced to try it far more promptly.
