But while Simon’s LP embraced Brazilian music fully, Till We Have Faces also features such sonic wildcards as the koto-imbued A Doll That’s Made In Japan and Hackett’s brief instrumental cover of the old Disney classic When You Wish Upon A Star .

  5. In my opinion, yes. Idk if I would claim to say it's bad, but to me everything past Rhythm of the Saints (so basically the Capeman and everything from this millennium) is unlistenable. I think it's great that people can enjoy those albums, but I cannot stand them and they feel like massive departures from the Paul Simon sound.

  7. 7 mag 2024 · Rhythm of the Saints was a brilliant album. Great artist are never static. They are constantly changing their music to challenge themselves. Dylan did it with the Band back in the day and was regularly booed for straying from folk music. Paul Simon has done the same as well as Sting!
