13 giu 2024 · The song was a number 1 hit for Thunderclap Newman back in July 1969 and part of the post-flower power rebellion movement. A bit tongue in cheek perhaps but it’s a very resonant lyric and this version is pretty groovy indeed and a perfect anthem for a summer of change!"
1 lug 2024 · Thunderclap Newman’s ‘Something In The Air’ was originally called ‘Revolution’ but because of The Beatle’s song with the same name it was changed. The original name for Cher’s ‘Gypsies Tramps And Thieves’ included the words ‘White Trash’ so was considered unsuitable.
