Zhubei, auch Jhubei oder Chupei (chinesisch 竹北市, Pinyin Zhúběi Shì, Tongyong Pinyin Jhúběi Shìh, W.-G. Chu-pei Shih, Pe̍h-ōe-jī Tek-pak-chhī), ist eine Stadt im Nordwesten der Republik China auf Taiwan. Sie ist Hauptstadt des Landkreises Hsinchu und mit 181.955 Einwohnern (Dezember 2017) dessen größte Stadt.
Located in north-western Taiwan, the population of the county is mainly Hakka; with a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county. Zhubei is the county seat, where the government office and county office is located. A portion of the Hsinchu Science Park is located in Hsinchu County.
