  3. Yeah like everyone has said you need a backflow preventer when cross connecting water supplies. Usually we use them for connecting irrigation to city water. Something to consider though- RP backflow preventers have gone way up in price. I think I paid over $400+ the other day on a zurn 1” RPZ…. Pvb backflows are only around $100-120.
