5 giorni fa · Built in 1076 by William the conqueror, Durham Castle is the oldest surviving building in Durham. It’s a treasure trove of Norman chapels, 11 th century carvings and ghost stories! One of the things I found most fascinating is that it’s still inhabited and in use today.
