28 mag 2024 · Magdalen College. (15) Magdalen College stands on the N. side of High Street, immediately W. of the river Cherwell. The walls are of local Oxfordshire stone and the roofs are covered with slates and lead. The college was founded in 1458 by William of Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester.

29 mag 2024 · Armagil was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford (BA 23 Jan 1531/2). His first government post was Clerk of the Council at Calais (1540). He started as third clerk and became Chief Clerk to the Privy Council in 1552.

25 mag 2024 · 24 April - 25 May 2024. On 5 May 1474 the foundation stone of the Chapel was laid by President Tybard and blessed by Bishop Robert Tully of St David’s. 550 years later, the College will be celebrating the Anniversary of this event with a series of ceremonies, services and seminars.
