Visto l'espansione della corona catalano aragonese nel Meridione italiano e le vostre isole, forse si tratta di una influenza venuta da queste parti. Poi, Chiquitida, "Tin' u' color du can quan' fusc" sembra proprio catalano. K.

Le più comuni in Veneto, in ordine decrescente di gravità: Zio cane (tra i giovani anche Zio ken), (P)orco zio, Zio Billy (usata più per creare ilarità tra i presenti che altro).

I think it translates as fucking pig's ear or bloody pig's ear, depending on the context. Pig's ear is rather mild, close to a cavolo, a cappero, a cacchio ecc. Last edited: Dec 1, 2009.

The word instead refers to an implement of punishment used to beat someone, as in "Two hundred years ago, teachers would punish lazy schoolboys with the cane."
