20 mag 2024 · Downside School in Somerset has been graded ‘Outstanding’ in all nine categories by the Catholic Schools Inspectorate, following the visit of inspectors from 25th-26th April 2024 which examined the school’s Catholic life and mission, religious education, and collective worship.

17 mag 2024 · On the 16th of September, the Creative Collection event reunited people working in the different creative industries, including OGs and past parents, there were many areas represented – painters, musicians, supporting actors, photographers, designers, etc.
6 mag 2024 · On Friday 3rd May, Bishop Declan visited the School for the final time to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with our pupils. 26 young people were confirmed in the Abbey Church, including some from the local parish and St Mary’s Calne, supported by families and friends.

6 giorni fa · We are incredibly proud of our Lower Sixth pupil Zara who has just been invited to join the National Youth Theatre following a highly competitive process in which over 5,000 people auditioned and approximately 8% were accepted. The National Youth Theatre is ‘”a place to not be boring.
