30 apr 2024 · Nel sito si argomenta che i restauratori hanno erroneamente creduto che lo strato superiore del dipinto fosse un’aggiunta del XVI secolo, mentre potrebbe benissimo essere che questo strato sia stato creato da Jan van Eyck e che quindi la pittura originale sia stata danneggiata in modo irreversibile.
