This rifle was made circa 1820-1830's in Reading, Pennsylvania area. It is signed with two fancy illegible makers initials at rear of barrel and shows a James Golcher lock.
12 giu 2024 · Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett. My first bp gun was an 1858 Remington in 1969. In 1970 I bought a .45 caliber Kentucky rifle. I don't remember what brand it was, probably CVA. I never could get the thing to spark except once in awhile and it turned me off of flinters for many years.
