Bereits mit zehn Jahren wurde er für eine Band namens N-Toon entdeckt, mit der er zwei Singles und 2000 das Album Toon Time veröffentlichte. Doch kurz darauf ging die Band auseinander und Lloyd suchte seinen Erfolg als Solosänger.
