  1. 21 ago 2024 · I'll be launching Kickstarter #28 by the end of the month. The Village Sleuth (1920) stars Charles Ray and Winifred Westover in a gentle comedy about a farm boy turned sleuth. I think it's very typical of Ray's work during the late teens and early 20s.

  2. 21 ago 2024 · So ok I'm not familiar with Westover at all. She's the leading lady in my upcoming Kickstarter project and so in doing a little research I find she was married to William S. Hart for about 5 years in the 1920s and was divorced in 1927.
