Hurtwood House is an independent, co-educational boarding school and sixth form for pupils aged 15–19 in Surrey, England. Synopsis. Founded in 1970 by Richard Jackson, [3] the main house is an Edwardian mansion set in 200 acres (0.81 km 2) in the Surrey Hills.
The potential scientist, linguist, artist, philosopher, lawyer, actor or captain of industry – each is well catered for and each is equally valued. Hurtwood prepares students in 22 A-level subjects which can be studied in any combination.
Founded in 1970, Hurtwood House is a private, co-educational, sixth-form only boarding school based around an Edwardian mansion and set in 200 acres of grounds in the Surrey Hills.
