24 feb 2023 · After the release of the original Vinx LP, "Through Colored Folks Eyes" released 2004 on Elephunk Records (A Basement Boys Label), Teddy Douglas has re-imagined and remixed a 3 song EP to kick off Black History Month. The subject matter of the amazing Black Boy song is relevant today as it was in the 70s.
12 feb 2007 · This LP features songs that are socially conscious and brutally honest, as Vinx tackles topics of the racial insensitivity and inequality that continues to exist in the 21st century. His poetic tales of injustice are set upon an understated groove that fuses elements of jazz, soul, folk, Afro-beat, dub reggae, blues, funk, and R&B.
