Anthony F. DePalma (October 12, 1904 – April 6, 2005) was an orthopedic surgeon and professor at Thomas Jefferson University, as well as the founder of the orthopedic department at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. DePalma was the first Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Orthopaedics & Related Research, a major orthopaedic journal, from 1953 to 1966. He wrote several medical textbooks that are considered standards.

10 feb 2008 · Dr. DePalma exemplified what a physician in a school of medicine is about: education, research and clinical care. He was a tireless educator. He taught the third year class lectures, beginning with congenital problems and ending with trauma and musculoskeletal conditions.
