King Edward VII and Queen Mary School (KEQMS) was an HMC independent co-educational school in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, England, formed in 2000 by the merger of King Edward VII School and Queen Mary School. It merged with Arnold School, Blackpool, in 2012 to form AKS Lytham.

AKS Lytham resulted from the merger of Arnold and KEQMS (formerly, King Edward VII, and Queen Mary schools) in 2012. Arnold was founded in 1896, while King Edward VII School dates back to 1908 and Queen Mary School to 1930.
King Edward VII School (KES) or King Edward School Lytham was a grammar, direct grant grammar and independent school for boys, founded in 1908 and situated in the coastal town of Lytham St. Annes, Lancashire.
AKS Lytham (AKS), or ArnoldKEQMS, is an private co-educational day school located on the Fylde, Lancashire, England. It was formed from the merger of King Edward VII and Queen Mary School (KEQMS) in Lytham St. Annes and Arnold School in Blackpool. [1] It is based on a coastal 35-acre site in Lytham St Annes.
When this in turn was removed following the 1997 General Election, the Governors announced the merger of the two schools. King Edward VII and Queen Mary School was officially opened by Sir Richard Evans, Chairman of BAE Systems, in 2000.
As well as the well-known Church and Council schools, and the formerly Direct Grant secondary schools, King Edward VII School and Queen Mary School, there was a large number of small private schools in Lytham and St Anne's, over the years amounting to more than seventy schools.
