Gerard John "Jerry" Best (born May 8, 1963 in Queens, New York), is a Los Angeles-based hard rock bassist, songwriter and composer, active since 1984. He has played with bands such as Lion , Dio , Freak of Nature and Heavy Bones.
Jerry Best is a bassist who played in various rock bands, such as Zeus, Fragile, Mansfield, Lion and Freak of Nature. He shares his personal and musical journey from his childhood in New York to his career in Los Angeles and Japan.
Jerry Best. Bassist, born Gerard John Best, May 8th. Hailing from Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York. Second child in the family which includes 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Started out in 1980 in the band Fragile which also included John Corabi, later in Mötley Crue and Ratt.
