Ferdinand Philipp Maria August Raphael of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (28 March 1844 – 3 July 1921) was the second prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and lord of Csábrág and Szitnya , both in modern-day Slovakia.
Prince Philipp of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (Philipp Josias Maria Joseph Ignatius Michael Gabriel Raphael Gonzaga; 18 August 1901 – 18 October 1985) was a dynast of the House of Wettin, belonging to the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha-Koháry. He was the last Fideikommissherr of the branch.
Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (German: Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha), or Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (German: Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha [ˈzaksn̩ ˈkoːbʊʁk ˈɡoːtaː]), was an Ernestine duchy in Thuringia ruled by a branch of the House of Wettin, consisting of territories in the present-day states of Thuringia and Bavaria in Germany. Philipp was the eldest son of August, Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Clémentine of Orleans. In 1875 he married his second cousin Louise, daughter of Leopold II, King of the Belgians and the couple had two children.
Prince Philipp Hubertus Andreas Christian of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duke of Saxony was born 15 July 2015 as the second child and only son of Hubertus, Hereditary Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Kelly, Hereditary Princess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.
