Save Ferris is an American ska punk band formed circa 1995 in Orange County, California, United States. Their name is a reference to the 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off. In 1995, the band began to perform underground venues in Southern California.

Formed in 1995, Save Ferris remains one of the seminal and most beloved bands from the third wave of ska. The group’s Orange County home was fertile ground for a thriving music scene, with punk, rock, and ska emerging from the region.

7 giu 2016 · “We’ve made a conscious effort to take the sound back to the beginning, Save Ferris ska!” As of today, two tour dates are set up on the Save Ferris website. The first performance will be at Ska Fest 2016 in Mexico City with The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, and many more.
24 feb 2008 · In April ’98, they performed live on HBO’s popular music series “Reverb” and saw their song “The World Is New” included in the Tri-Star movie The Big Hit. Save Ferris ap-peared on screen in another movie, Ten Things I Hate About You, a Top Ten box office suc-cess.
