I Am Not Insane is a 2010 album by Michael Gira. The release consists of a CD with new material, and a DVD of two live shows that includes a 16-minute "mini-doc" (by the same name) on Gira's new material in acoustic demo form, shot and edited by Francisco Macias.

8 mar 2010 · Di certo ha fatto molto scalpore la notizia che Michael Gira avesse intenzione di recuperare la vecchia sigla SWANS per il suo nuovo disco. E come anteprima ecco un album dal titolo che sembra suggerire che il nostro, in fondo, sa bene quello che fa.
17 apr 2014 · The music CD consisted of Gira’s acoustic demos of several songs under consideration for the new Swans album and the DVD was 2 live shows of Gira solo. Gira hand printed the edition - named I Am Not Insane - (with wood block), hand colored each one individually, and assembled the 1000 copies himself.
In order to raise funds for the forthcoming Swans full-length, Michael Gira released this CD and DVD package, I am Not Insane (with handmade artwork on each of the 1,000 copies made by himself) that contains demos of potential songs that may be considered for the Swans album.
