18 ott 2008 · San Francisco, CA - Skip Mesquite, the original Tower Of Power lead tenor sax player passed away after a prolonged fight with Cancer on March 18. Ironically, Skip wrote a song entitled “ Gone,” which dealt with the death of Jacqueline Mesquite .
