Blue Moves is the eleventh studio album by English musician Elton John. It was released on 22 October 1976 through John's own Rocket Record Company (his first for the label), alongside MCA Records in certain countries.

9 nov 2023 · Blue Moves. Elton’s 11th studio album is also his second double vinyl effort and the first on his own record label, Rocket Records. It reached #3 in the UK and on the Billboard Top 200 chart and went on to be certified platinum by the RIAA.
Nonetheless, this article is not focused on comparing Elton John to the Beatles, but it is a critical point to make in acknowledging his unbelievable success from 1970 to 1976. That success was so earth-shattering it actually would overshadow his final album of that brilliant run called Blue Moves.
