Peter Martin (born 1970) is an American jazz pianist. Life and career. Martin was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 17, 1970. He won Second Place at the 1993 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition.

16 mag 2005 · Known to most as Dianne Reeves' musical director, pianist Peter Martin takes her stellar touring trio on a musical journey through jazz's heartland on In the P.M.; guest vocalist Erin Bode adds a warm and welcome lyricism to the session.
Martin returns to the studio with his long time collaborators Reuben Rogers, bass; and Greg Hutchinson, drums; a trio that currently backs Grammy-award-winning vocalist Dianne Reeves. In The P.M. also features MAXJAZZ recording artist and vocalist Erin Bode on three of the eleven tracks.
