Gimme Some is the sixth album by Peter Bjorn and John. It was released on 28 March 2011 in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world on Cooking Vinyl, and the following day in the US, on Startime International.

Per dire, Bjorn Yttling si è dedicato alla produzione artistica di numerosi colleghi svedesi tra cui Lykke Li, mentre Peter Mòren si è già aperto una strada in solo con The Last Tycoon (del 2008).
Peter Bjorn and John played Lollapalooza 2009 in Chicago. In 2011, Peter Bjorn and John returned to their melodic pop roots with the decidedly more accessible Gimme Some. The band also opened up for Depeche Mode during their Tour of the Universe.
After a slight detour into dark, percussive synth-pop on Living Thing, the Swedes put the fizz—and guitars—back into their buoyant hooks on 2011's Gimme Some. "Dig a Little Deeper" shimmies with a sprightly calypso groove, while "Second Chance" gets giddy on power pop and some irresistible cowbell.
