Il Bunraku (文楽) o Ningyō jōruri (人形浄瑠璃) è un tipo di teatro giapponese caratterizzato dalla combinazione di tre pratiche: la manipolazione dei burattini (Ningyō人形), la recitazione del testo e l’accompagnamento della recitazione con la musica prodotta da un liuto a tre corde chiamato shamisen.
