Il pur valido batterista Marquis Marky (vero nome Marky Edelmann) ha suonato fino al 2001 in una band industrial chiamata Apollyon Sun che non ebbe, però, molta fortuna. Mental Vortex, la cui cover è chiaramente ispirata al film Psycho di Alfred Hitchcock, rappresenta la naturale evoluzione della musica dei Coroner.
Marquis Marky and Ron Royce deliver very convincing performances too and the latter´s quite distinct vocal style provides that part of the band´s music with something unique. He has a talking/singing raw vocal style, featuring an understated aggression, that´s rather unconventional.
