Driving to Damascus is the eighth studio album by Scottish rock band Big Country. It was released in 1999 as both a standard edition and a limited edition digipack, and with bonus tracks in 2002. In the U.S., it was released under a different name, John Wayne's Dream.

24 giu 2023 · This 4 CD boxset comprises the original Driving To Damascus album (plus The Nashville Sessions), a disc of B sides and edits, and two discs of demos/alt mixes. It’s clear from the opening (and title) track that Adamson is aiming to evoke something of the USA’s deep south mythology.
Great gig. Tommy was excellent. Loved it when he teased us with the riff from Driving to Damascus during the encore break. Would love to hear more from that and post Steeltown albums at future gigs. The body of work of the band is incredible.
