4 mar 2021 · Victor Wooten solista “Assolo di basso”: un accostamento di parole che fa storcere il naso a molti. Non senza alcune valide ragioni, mi sento di aggiungere, ma al tempo stesso non mancano le espressioni di eccellenza assoluta anche in questo potenzialmente disagevole territorio.
Il suo basso Fodera più famoso, un Monarch del 1983 che lui ritiene essere il 'numero 1', monta un ponte con tremolo della Kahler modello 2400. I bassi Fodera 'Yin Yang' (co-progettati da Wooten e creati per lui) incorporano il simbolo dello Yin Yang (che Wooten usa in diversi contesti) e attorno ad esso sono stati progettati.
Victor Lemonte Wooten (born September 11, 1964) is an American bassist, songwriter, and record producer. He has been the bassist for Béla Fleck and the Flecktones since the group's formation in 1988 and a member of the band SMV with two other bassists, Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller.
Bloom was the fourth album released by Jeff Coffin, and was issued in 2005. This album was the second album recorded and released with the Mu'tet, a constantly changing group of guest musicians that play with Coffin.
