Medea (Russian: Медея) is a 2021 Russian drama film directed by Alexander Zeldovich. It is scheduled to be theatrically released on 4 November 2021. The film has been officially invited in 'Harbour' section at the 51st International Film Festival Rotterdam to be held from January 26 to February 6, 2022.

Medea is an intelligent, highly educated woman who gives up on her dreams when she falls for rich businessman Alexei. When the pair have two children, she patiently waits for him to divorce his wife, and as he decides to emigrate from Russia to Israel, she meekly follows him.
MEDEA. For the sake of her future with the father of her two children, she commits a crime so grave that he withdraws from her. Feeling betrayed she tries to fill the void with sex and religion; but resentment drives her to revenge.
