The idea of this show was to introduce children to the splendor and beauty of The Metropolitan Opera. I remember seeing the grace and magic of Beverly Sills who was the grand dam of the Met. Combine this with the genteel warmth of host Danny Kaye, and you have the makings of what dreams are.
