In addition to architectural design and the history and theory of architecture and urbanism, undergraduates study a range of disciplines that contribute to an architect’s knowledge and vision, including courses in architectural analysis, representation, computing, and building technologies.
The School of Architecture, Princeton’s center for teaching and research in architectural design, history, and theory, offers advanced degrees at both the master’s and the doctoral levels.
The architecture program provides a foundation in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, historic preservation and related fields of study. In particular, the program prepares students for further study at the graduate level in design and the history and theory of art or architecture.
