Patricia Agnes Glassop (6 July 1926 – 21 September 2010), also professionally known as Patricia Hutchence was an Australian film and television makeup artist, and was the mother of INXS frontman Michael Hutchence and grandmother of Hutchence’s daughter, Tiger Lily. In later years she was an author.

22 set 2010 · THE biggest fan of former INXS frontman Michael Hutchence - his devoted mother, Patricia Glassop - passed away on Tuesday at age 84.

PARENTS PATRICIA GLASSOP AND KEL HUTCHENCE. Michael’s mum Patricia Glassop and dad Kel Hutchence both failed in their separate attempts to gain custody of Tiger. In the late 1990s, Glassop and her daughter Tina Schorr took Hutchence’s lawyer Colin Diamond to court in a battle over her son’s assets which they believed were tied up in trusts.
Patricia Glassop, whose son was found hanged in a Sydney hotel room in 1997, claims the Band Aid founder will not allow her family to see 11-year-old Tiger Lily, Hutchence's daughter with Geldof's late wife Paula Yates.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Michael’s Mother, Patricia Glassop in Australia following an illness. Patricia was 84 years of age and had been a devoted fan of her world famous son. She leaves behind her daughter, Tina and son Rhett and her grandchildren, including Michael’s daughter, Tiger Lily.
