Rosalie Mackenzie Poe (1810-1874), born Rosalie Poe, was best known as the younger sister of American author Edgar Allan Poe. After the deaths of their parents, the children were split up. While Henry lived with family in Baltimore, Maryland, Rosalie and Edgar were placed in the care of adopted families.

They show her in her final few years. At the bottom of this particular copy, she has signed her name as "Rose M. Poe, Sister of Edgar Allan Poe, the poet."
In David's absence, Eliza gave birth to a daughter in December 1810, but the true paternity of Rosalie Poe remains uncertain. Edgar Allan Poe, however, clearly names Rosalie Poe as his sister and the daughter of David Poe Jr.
