Alva Reimer Myrdal (Uppsala, 31 gennaio 1902 – Danderyd, 1º febbraio 1986) è stata una diplomatica, politica e scrittrice svedese, vincitrice, con Alfonso García Robles, del premio Nobel per la pace nel 1982 per il suo impegno a favore del disarmo.

She was a prominent leader of the disarmament movement. She, along with Alfonso García Robles, received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1982.
Biographical. Alva Myrdal was born in Uppsala in 1902, graduated from University in 1924, and married Gunnar Myrdal the same year. Together with her husband she made a major contribution in the 1930s to the work of promoting social welfare.

Alva Reimer Myrdal (born Jan. 31, 1902, Uppsala, Sweden—died Feb. 1, 1986, Ersta, near Stockholm) was a Swedish diplomat, government minister, author, and advocate of nuclear disarmament. She was the corecipient with Alfonso García Robles of Mexico of the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1982.
