Applicants for admissions to Academia del Perpetuo Socorro must meet the academic requirements and enrollment policies. HISTORY. ACADEMIA DEL PERPETUO SOCORRO, (APS), was founded by the Redemptorists Fathers and opened in September 1921. It first director was Reverend Father William McCarthy, C.Ss.R., and its first Principal was Sister Mary Alacoque, S.S.N.D.
