The Superstars was a televised sporting event featuring ten top athletes from ten different sports competing in events that were not their own. The idea was developed by Dick Button who shopped the idea to all three U.S. television networks.

Superstars was a TV sports competition in which elite athletes from a variety of sports compete against each other in a number of events, resembling a decathlon. The athletes must not compete in the sport for which they practice as their profession. Points are awarded for the position in which the competitor places in each event.
The Superstars: With Keith Jackson, Bob Seagren, Laura Lee Blears, Donna de Varona. The idea was to select ten famous athletes from the ten most popular television spectator sports.

The Superstars is the third album by the Dutch soundalike studio group Stars on 45, released on the CNR Records label in the Netherlands in March 1982. In the US, the album was retitled Stars On Long Play III, released on Radio Records and credited to 'Stars On'.
