The White Birch is a slowcore/post-rock band from Oslo, Norway. Formed in 1996 by Ola Fløttum (vocals, guitar), Ulf Rogde (bass), Hans Christian Almendingen (drums) and Frode Løes Arnesen (keyboards, samples). Frode Løes Arnesen left the band in 2000, and The White Birch became a trio.
