Thirlwell and some guitar overdubs were done by Thurston Moore at the BC Studios in Brooklyn, New York in May 1987. Released in this form without the consent of Nick Cave and Mick Harvey because of the remixing which didn't leave many of the originals intact.

  4. The B-side tracks were originally recorded by the Honeymoon In Red ensemble, whose recordings were released by Widowspeak in 1987 as being a Lydia Lunch release. "Done Dun" on this release is the same version as on "Honeymoon In Red", whereas "Dead River" is a vocal and piano-only version, and differs to that on "Honeymoon In Red".

  7. Further guests include Jim Thirlwell (aka Clint Ruin aka Foetus) and Thurston Moore on two tracks. The result is something of a melodic Lydia Lunch album, or a somewhat unmelodic Birthday Party album. Highly abrasive with psychotic bursts, but surprisingly structured (for a Lunch album anyway).
