1 ott 2016 · After spending most of its time being a fairly light-hearted entertainment—and entertaining it most certainly is, without being a laugh-aloud comedy—A Fig Leaf for Eve turns noirish in, quite literally, its last few minutes.
Club dancer Eve (Jan Wiley) gets the chance to play at being an heiress, and despite the evident fraud she becomes fast friends with her new Aunt Sarah (Janet Scott). Phil Warren and Eddie Dunn are the plotters, and there's a speciality number from noted African-American organist Selika Pettiford.
