Volume 2: Best Of The Remixes & Megamixes (1990-1992) Culled from the 'Reconstruction' tape series, these tracks showcase Shadow's blitzkrieg cut-and-paste style utilizing the best music of the era.

DJ Shadow: The 4-Track Era Bundle | Josh Spear. Posted on May 27, 2009 Under Music. To most of us, DJ Shadow is a mind without a past. Everything he touched became a timeless piece, the demonstration of his powers beginning with 1996’s Endtroducing, an album that quickly became the soundtrack to the lives of many.
DJ Shadow was experimenting with a four-track recorder while in high school in Davis, California, and began his music career as a disc jockey for the University of California, Davis, campus radio station KDVS. During this period, he explored the experimental hip-hop style associated with the London-based Mo' Wax record label.
