Infected è il secondo album in studio del gruppo musicale inglese The The, pubblicato nel 1986. Registrato con l'aiuto di Neneh Cherry , Anne Dudley e il percussionista degli Swans Roli Mosimann , l'album da una visione critica della Gran Bretagna ed e considerato il capolavoro dei The The ,venendo lodato anche da John Lydon .
Infected is the second studio album by the English post-punk band the The, released on 17 November 1986 by Some Bizzare and Epic. The album produced four UK singles, including the band's best-selling single "Heartland," which reached number 29 in the UK and spent 10 weeks on the chart, "Infected", "Slow Train to Dawn" and "Sweet Bird of Truth".

Più tardi ha collaborato con The The nell'album dell'artista inglese intitolato Infected, dove interpreta la seconda voce nel brano Slow train to dawn ' [2] e soprattutto con il suo compagno, Cameron McVey (sposato nel 1990), che ha scritto gran parte delle canzoni di Raw Like Sushi, debutto solista della Cherry [3].

19 giu 2015 · However 'Infected’s musical ace in the hole are the female vocals that make an appearance on almost every song shifting perspectives from lovers (Neneh Cherry adds lead vocals for a duet with Johnson on 'Slow Train to Dawn'), prostitutes or angels begging the question as to whether they all amount to the same influence here.
